History Of MD Technologies Inc.

MD Technologies Inc. began developing Internet-based software solutions for the healthcare industry in 1995 when the emergence of the Internet began to materialize. The product that evolved from this development, Medtopia® Manager, became one of the first net-native and on-demand practice management systems on the market when it went live in November 1998. Shortly thereafter, MD Technologies Inc. began marketing online subscriptions to the application with a SaaS (Software as a Service) business model.

The Addition Of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Services.

In 2002, the company began offering Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services to physicians, which then gave us the ability to deploy an end-to-end solution that incorporates software, systems, labor and processes for managing our customers’ accounts receivables.

Company Growth

MD Technologies Inc. is now one of the largest RCM and fasting growing healthcare IT companies in the country. We have collected more than $1billion in medical receivables to date and our collection cycle is consistently below the national average for each specialty it serves.

Our Vision.

At MD Technologies Inc., we believe that the demand for our technology and service solutions for the healthcare IT and revenue cycle management markets will continue to grow. This is due to the healthcare environment becoming more complex and physicians being faced with reduced reimbursements and higher operating costs.

We also believe the overall Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) market is growing across multiple industries – not just healthcare – as many companies look to outsource their business services at lower costs. Tasks such as data-entry, transaction processing and other labor-intensive functions are being subcontracted to companies who can deliver these services with a global workforce in conjunction with a high level of quality.

Because of these market dynamics, it is our belief that the keys to success in our respective industries rely upon the following three factors:

  • The development and delivery of advanced technology
  • A highly efficient process management environment
  • A strong dedication to customer service and support that will earn long-term customer loyalty
