Easy-to-use templates help physicians document their encounters electronically in addition to helping them code their charges appropriately with Evaluation and Management documentation guidelines.

The Medtopia EMR provides physicians with a one-stop solution for increasing productivity, reducing paperwork, and reducing costs by allowing them to incorporate technology in a way that best fits their practice.  The EMR system is extremely flexible and provides physicians with multiple avenues for capturing their electronic medical records. For example, they can use the Encounter Template Wizard to configure their encounter documentation the way they want, or they can use one of the multiple built-in templates to get started right away. Physicians may also use the built-in audio recorder to document their encounters, which can be uploaded directly into the Transcription Queue. Similarly, physicians can document their encounters with handwritten notes that are stored electronically and attached directly to the electronic patient chart.

In addition to providing physicians with an electronic medical record system, the Medtopia EMR is designed to provide physicians with an extension to their clinical and administrative operations with the built-in appointment calendar system, surgery schedule, hospital queue, report viewer, secured intra-office email, and more.  The purpose of the Medtopia EMR is to not just solve the physicians’ clinical needs, but to help solve the entire operational needs for the whole practice.
