Medtopia Mobile is provided to physicians as a monthly subscription service.
There is a single, one-time setup fee, which includes the cost of the device as
well as a nominal setup fee for creation of the online Medtopia account. After
that, the physician is billed monthly for the service and there are no hidden
or additional costs. If a replacement device is required by the physician, then
Medtopia will simply charge him for the cost of the device and shipping only
with no additional fee. The standard setup fee includes a single Windows
PocketPC device and a dial-up modem. However, other hardware options are
available, such as wireless networking, which can be installed and supported by
our experienced network engineers. All updates, upgrades, and technical support
are included in the monthly subscription.
